BLINDRUN is a first-person action roguelite built around momentum, style, and destruction. Chain wall-runs into airborne kills, slow down time to land the perfect shot, and tear through procedurally-ordered combat rooms — all while a style rank system judges your every move.
This is an early alpha build. Expect rough edges and evolving content.
What Is It?
BLINDRUN drops you into a sci-fi combat loop where how you fight matters as much as whether you survive. A living style rank system tracks everything — your movement, your kills, your abilities — and rewards players who keep the chaos flowing with raw stat buffs and visual escalation. Play it safe and your rank decays. Play beautifully and the game bends to reward you.
Key Features
- Movement-first combat — Wall run, wall jump, slide, slide-jump, grapple, and grind rails to stay airborne and in control at all times
- Bullet time — Slow down the world at will. Kills in slow-mo earn bonus style points
- Combat abilities — Force Push, Telekinesis, and a Black Hole that pulls enemies together for multi-kills
- Style rank system — Six ranks from D (Dismal) to SS (STYLISH!). Higher ranks trigger post-processing escalation and unlock real combat buffs
- Challenge tiers — Hit score thresholds to enter Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum fury states, each giving stacking damage and speed multipliers
- Roguelite combat rooms — Clear randomised rooms, each with a kill objective tracked live on your HUD
- Relic system — Discover relics hidden in the loop, return them to altars in the main hub, and unlock portals to specific high-stakes challenge rooms
- AI enemies — Tactical enemies that take cover, flank, and coordinate. Grenadiers that punish standing still
How To Play
The Loop:
- From the main hub, enter the roguelite loop through the gateway
- Drop into combat rooms — your HUD shows the kill objective (e.g. Kill All Enemies 0/4)
- Wipe the room. The black hole gateway opens when all enemies are down
- Step through to return to the hub, earn a skill point, and convert your style score to XP
- Repeat — rooms escalate, your build grows
The Relic Path:
- While looping, find relics hidden in rooms
- Die or complete the room to return to the hub with the relic
- Place it on an altar to open a portal to a specific challenge room
- Complete that room for a unique reward
Style Ranking:
- Do anything cool and your style points climb — wall-runs, airborne kills, slow-mo shots, ability kills
- Take damage and lose 50% of your current points instantly
- Stay grounded too long and points decay fast
- Reach S rank for chromatic aberration. Hit SS for full visual mayhem and double damage output

Alpha Notes
This is an active early build. Current content includes:
- Main hub scene with roguelite gateway
- 3 combat loop rooms with kill objectives and enemy AI
- Full style rank and challenge system
- Relic discovery and altar placement (in progress)
- Skill tree (early)
